- Remove ash and debris by skimming the surface of the pool and scooping the pool floor.
- Brush the entire pool and use BioGuard’ Squeaky Clean’ to remove waterline build-up.
- Vacuum the pool floor, clean the skimmer baskets and backwash the filter.
- Check the chlorine levels, as added organic material in the water disrupts the effectiveness of chlorine. Adjust accordingly.
- Added organic waste in the water also encourages algae growth. Prevent this by adding an algaecide.
- Clean the filter to remove contaminants and rebalance the water. Check the water balance daily, adjusting chemicals as needed. Do this until water balance is no longer drifting out of range.
